Lee Chaffee (below, front middle) was a senior on the 1966 team, one of the best squads of all time. He
held the discus record for 30 years and ranks among the top 10 in the shot put and high jump. He was also valedictorian,
class president, a star in football and basketball, and arguably, the greatest student-athlete in PCS history.
Jake Haught ('02) was the greatest shot and disc man in history - #1 in the discus and #3 in the shot.
He also starred on the gridiron and in hoops.
Larry Welty became the Boys' Track and Field coach in 2002, the first year of the new track complex.
