Scroll down for an adventure with the
PCS Class of '82
The Portville Central School Class of 1982 had 114 seniors running through the halls of our
alma mater. 15 of them had siblings in the Class of '79, so there was a special bond that existed between the two classes.
There were other factors that contributed to this senior-freshmen interclass
bonding, including dating between the males and females, arts and sports connections, and extracurricular activities.
1979 was a high school initiation period for the 82ers. For the first time, these freshmen
had to interact with kids who were 3 years older on a regular basis - gym class, foreign languages, chorus, band, football,
and other activities inside and outside of school.
