Summer 2011
I have been returning
to Buffalo's Delaware Park to play hoops the past few years, as well as other courts in Portville, Bath, Williamsport,
and small towns in Western New York and Pennsy. At 50 years old, I don't know how many years I have left to compete
at 5-on-5 with young bucks and old bucks.
I have been playing the game for over 45 years, and I still remember
watching all of my heroes at the time - Bob Cousy, The Big O, Clyde Frazier, Randy Smith, Pistol Pete Maravich, Dr. J,
MJ, Iverson, Steve Nash...players who I studied and tried to emulate on the courts.
