Ronald Reagan was elected for a second term while these guys and girls were seniors.  During the presidential campaign of 1984, the football team went undefeated at 8-0 in the final year of the Border Conference.  A 14-7 victory over an unbeaten Smethport was the last time Portville played a Pennsylvania school on the gridiron.
